Thank you, Claire!

For the last few summers your children have been lovingly taught to swim by the wonderful Claire Mortimer. You're probably wondering were she is?
A note from Claire;  I am finishing up my accelerated nursing program at Creighton University which is in Omaha Nebraska, and loving the Mid-West! I graduate in August! I will sure miss my Kingsgate family this summer and all of my little swimmers! Feel free to keep in touch and let me know how the kiddos are doing with their swimming this summer!

With gratitude

Thank you to members of our community for their service!

Linda Condie for stepping in to handle the reservations for park and pool. This is a huge piece for all of us to truly enjoy our facilities all summer long!

Cassandra Sage for taking on multiple roles AND keeping an eye out for new neighbors and those in need!

Jeanette Siemers for all her years of service! For over six years Jeanette has served in positions such a pool/park director, along with husband Jeff and Vice President in addition to filling in where help was needed.

Jeff Siemers for taking on the park maintenance logistics. Finding the right service providers, staying within budget and being on constant vigilance are just a few of the things Jeff generously puts his time in to.

Brian Smith for rolling up his sleeves to help Mike & Jeff clean up our pool house and deck.

John Pabst has been serving our HOA for over ten years. We can always count on him to keep the checks and balances and remember mountains of info going way back about projects, neighbors and processes.

Gena Cook for organizing the past few years of Easter Egg Hunts (both) and Jessica Wilson & Julie Hageman for taking on the bunnies and making this year's day hunt a huge success!

There are many neighbors who help each and every day. We would love to honor their generosity so please when you would like to acknowledge someone send us your nominated SHOUT OUT!

HOA WANTS YOU!

10 Ways

10 ways to help your community without the major time commitment

  • make and/or deliver a meal, treat, card and/or flowers for new neighbors, baby, ill or debilitated neighbor
  • come for an hour to park/pool cleanup/setup and/or take down
  • check up on an elderly neighbor
  • create boards/sign for events and place/post around neighborhood
  • come out to a home swim meet and cheer on the Royals (purchase a tasty dinner too)!
  • host a neighborhood event
  • identify a need in the neighborhood and create a committee for improvements
  • create a community social media page > can be anywhere from a missing pets informational site to neighborhood watch. (does not need to be HOA managed)
  • reach out to Kingsgate Cares and/or Activity Chairs for immediate needs/ upcoming events
  • attend an event!

Most HOA Board volunteers hold full time careers and are raising their families. It is a 100% volunteer organization.   It is always helpful when a community member brings up issues and concerns that they can brainstorm and be active in helping to resolve issues.
